Mystery “Dungeon” Explorer by kettek
Or, more accurately, a very rudimentary maze exploration “game” with an ASCII “3D” view, a la early CRPGs.
You can theoretically find an exit.
There are bugs.
Uploaded very late due to Emscripten throwing a fit at my spaghetti. But it does run the browser! Wowee!

Small Town Smackers by CakeNeq Games
Kelsie and I worked on this game, though not as long as we would have liked. Due to things that were, and some that weren’t, in our control, we lost a huge amount of time during the jam.

The Trunk by Danny Perski
An extremely short text game that tells the true story about how I locked my fucking keys in my fucking trunk after a long day at work.

PWNSTR by Aimée MacDonald
I found this file in my downloads folder with no idea how it got there.
It seems like some kind of hacking tool, however I have not yet been able to figure it out…
Maybe somebody here will have more success?

Time to submit your games!
Text Jam 2015 is officially over, and it is now time to submit your games. It’s relatively simple, just click this link here and follow the instructions. It doesn’t look like we had quite as many participants as last year, but it’s always fun to try something new. I enjoy hosting this jam and it will return next year.
Text Jam 2015 has begun!
You can all start making your games now! Remember, this is a 48 hour jam. When you are ready to submit your game, click this link here!
Text Jam 2015 details and date!
The time has come! After a long year of making things that aren’t text games, the time has come for all of us to get together and put together some awesome text games. Last year we had around 30 participants and I believe we can beat that this year.
The jam is happening on Friday August 7th through Sunday August 9th. I haven’t decided the exact time yet, but I’ll give more information as we get closer. Like last year, I also don’t have any plans to announce a theme. I feel that this is for the best at least until the jam gets a little more popular.
If you have any feedback or suggestions for the jam, direct them to @mguniverse on Twitter.
The Day When Charlie Ables’ Family Fell Apart by Tyler Knecht
This is an experiment in the exploration of existential dread and despair, or rather the path towards it.
Today, at this moment, you The Player will experience the fulcrum of a boys world crumble.
This is the story of Charlie Ables, and a particular moment of his life.
